Detailed Overview

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi

Arriving Delhi, you will clear customs and immigration. Leaving the airport, you will be met by our representative, holding a placard with your name on it in the arrival lounge. Arrival transfer to hotel. Assistance for check-in will be provided. After check-in overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to JaipurEn-route visit Neemrana fort which is India's oldest heritage resort. Sited on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year-old Aravalli ranges, the property covers 25 acres/10 hectares.

Arrive Jaipur and check-in into hotel. In the evening we have arranged a dinner at Speciality Restaurant. Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 03 - Jaipur

After breakfast full day sightseeing ofJaipur which is an exuberance of color, dance, and song with the traditional arts and crafts. Covering Amer Fort - The royal family's residence at Amber is only 11 km away. Set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake, and its sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding hills. Your guide will elaborate on the history of this architectural masterpiece with its mirror-studded alcoves, dazzling mosaics and water-cooled swings that delight today’s visitors as they did their former royal residents.

Later on visit Hawa Mahal or "Palace of Winds," one of the major landmarks of Jaipur, although it is actually little more than a facade. City Palace which is blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture and the royal family still lives in a part of the palace. Adjacent to the City Palace is Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory built by Raja Jai Singh, whose passion for astronomy was even more notable than his prowess as a warrior.

In the late afternoon a visit to the colourful bazaar of Jaipur has been arranged. Here get your hands painted with Henna from roadside mehandiwalas (ladies that specialise in painting hands with Henna). Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast)

Day 04 - Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the first planned city of the Mughals and also the first one designed in Mughal architecture, an amalgamation of Indian architecture, Persian and Islamic architecture. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. Arrive Agra and check-in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast)

Day 05 - Agra

Early morning visit the Taj Mahal which is India’s most fascinating and beautiful masterpiece. The Taj is most enthralling in the quietness of early morning. This glorious monument is at its best under the early morning sun. It is the best time to click pictures as not only is the light wonderful but it’s relatively less crowded too. With the rising Sun the white marble changes its colour and hues and it is excellent for photography.

After breakfast visit the sprawling Agra Red Fort which is surrounded by a 70 feet high wall. Later on visit Itmad-ud-daula which has a special place in the chronicles of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely because Itmad-ud-Daula is the very first tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. This is actually a mausoleum that overlooks the River Yamuna and is a tomb of Mir Ghiyas Beg, a minister in the court of Shah Jahan.

In the evening, head to Mehtab Garden for a unique view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna river! Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast)

Day 06 - Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho

After an early breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to Agra Cantt. Railway Station to catch SHATABDI EXPRESS train to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and you will be met by our representative, holding a placard with your name on it at the exit. Then drive to Orchha and visit Laxminarayan Temple, Jahangir Mahal & Chattries of Bundela Kings.

Later on continue drive to Khajuraho. On arrival check-in into hotel. After check-in rest of the day free to relax at your hotel. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 07 - Khajuraho - Varanasi

After an early breakfast visit of the Western & Eastern group of Temple complex of Khajuraho. Also visit the newly constructed hanuman Temple. Later on transfer to airport to catch flight to Varanasi. On arrival you will be met by our representative, holding a placard with your name on it in the arrival lounge. Arrival transfer to hotel.

In the evening enjoy boat ride on the holy river Ganges and you will be taken to the Ganga Ghats to watch evening Aarti (Hindu ritual). Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 08 - Varanasi

Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the holy river Ganges, which presents an incredible scene as multitudes of devotees come to the river to pay homage to the Sun God. The riverfront, as seen from a boat at sunrise, is a spiritually uplifting sight. Hinduism, deep and mystical, is everywhere: in a decorated doorway; in a glimpse of a glittering temple; in the sound of a sacred bell; in the chant of the priests; and in the fragrance of flower oblations. Pass the bathing ghats where thousands of pilgrims immerse themselves in the holy water of the Ganges and the burning ghats where cremations are conducted. Later on come back to the hotel.

After breakfast half day city tour of Varanasi. One of the holiest cities in India, Varanasi is one of the most important pilgrimage sites and also a major tourist attraction. It has been the religious capital of Hinduism since time immemorial. Situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges, Varanasi has been a center of learning and civilization for more than 2,000 years.

In the afternoon an excursion to Sarnath - where Bhuddhism first made its appearance nearly 2500 years ago and where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his 5 disciples. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 09 - Varanasi - Delhi

After breakfast rest of the morning free to relax at your hotel. In the afternoon check-out from the hotel and in time transfer to airport to catch flight to Delhi. Day 10 - Delhi (Departure)

After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi which is India's bustling capital city. Covering India Gate which is a famous war memorial at the east end of Rajpath. Also visit Gandhi Smriti. The residence of industrialist BD Birla has been converted into a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, where he used to stay during his visits to Delhi. Gandhiji was assassinated here on his way to offer customary evening prayers. Large collection of photographs with a few personal belongings and a series of small dolls houses and terracotta dolls illustrating Gandhijis' life are the attractions at this museum. Later on drive past President's House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building

Later on visit Lotus Temple(Bahai Temple) which is the newest most extravagant architectural wonder of the Bahai faith, located in Kalkaji, south of Delhi.Then, visit the beautiful Akshardham temple. The grand, ancient-styled Swaminarayan Akshardham complex was built in only five years through the efforts of 11,000 artisans and BAPS volunteers.

In the late afternoon visit Qutab Minar which is 72.5 m in height and has a mosque at the base. It is a magnificent structure whose construction started in 1199 by a Muslim King Qutab-ud-din Aibak (after whom it was named) and was finished by his heir IItutmish.Car and driver will be at your disposal until departure transfer to airport to catch flight for onward journey.
