We leave Quito in the morning from your hotel to the wall of Sigsipamba. After a thirty minutes drive and a 5 minutes walk we’ll start the climbing course right under the volcanic rock climbing cliff. Our climbing guide will give you the first climbing instructions about top-rope and lead climbing, body movement, breathing, safety while in the mountain, climbing knots, belaying and equipment management. We will return to Quito at dark, have dinner and rest at our hotel.
• Day 2:
We again leave in the morning to Sigsipamba. This second day you’ll learn how to build sound top rope anchors and place and replace safety equipment while climbing. You also will learn about body balancing and energy efficiency. Bear in mind that all these will translate into greater comfort and control on every type of hiking and mountaineering terrain. We’ll finish the day relaxing at the hot springs of Papallacta before heading to our dinner and hotel.
• Day 3:
The last day is fully dedicated to real practice. You’ll have the opportunity to climb different routs with the close help and advice of our guides. The most adventurers will be able to even try to lead some pitches. We’ll return to Quito in the evening for a final dinner and to be prepared for your next trip.
